The city of Vandalia is looking to hire a range of public safety positions this summer, according to the city’s website.

Vandalia is near the Dayton International Airport and has a wide range of businesses located within the city limits. It is known as the “Crossroads of America” because of the I-70 and I-75 interchange.

The police and fire departments are among those looking to fill positions. Each department participates in a mutual aid agreement with surrounding cities.

If you are looking for a position as a police lieutenant or a police support services manager, applications are due to the city no later than 5 p.m. on Monday.

If you are looking for a position as a police public safety specialist or a firefighter/paramedic/fire inspector, applications are due to the city no later than 5 p.m. on June 18.
