Want to win a prize for building a snowman? Local contest seeks entries

Vandalia residents who are building snowmen and other cold creations this winter could win something for it.

Residents can enter the snow creation contest at the Vandalia Recreation Center. Residents can enter their snow creations, such as a snowman, a chicken, an igloo, to win a winter family fun gift basket.

People have until Feb. 15 to send photos of their snow sculptures to Aaron Messenger at amessenger@vandaliaohio.org.

The photos will be posted on the recreation center’s Facebook page from Feb. 18 to Feb. 24. The photo that receives the most “likes” will win, according to the center.

Residents can email Messenger or call the recreation center at 937-890-7709 with any questions they may have.
