"Joey," the life sized puppet from War Horse made an appearance Tuesday afternoon in downtown Dayton to kick off the opening of the play at the Schuster Center. The puppet, which weighs 120 pounds and is handmade by 14 people, is controlled by three puppeteers. War Horse will run through Oct. 27. LISA POWELL / STAFF
