No land or funding was set aside for schools, but officials said this would be included as Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices obtained $40 million in public financing for a 250-acre first phase, including establishment of a community authority for the new development.
“We move forward to the next hurdle,” said Gary Horning, vice president for marketing and communications at Otterbein. “This is going to be a slow and methodical process.”
