After the crash, the man ran off through the parking lot. A short time later, police arrived on scene and the man was handcuffed.

According to medic Michael Stanford, these types of situation don’t happen often. "Very rare occurrence for this to happen, we are fortunate nobody was injured," he said.
Thankfully, no EMTs or patients were in the ambulance at the time.

The car’s owner, Marcia Crenshaw-Hill, says she was fortunate. "Thank God,” she said, “that me or my mom or my son wasn't in the car."
Luckily, no one suffered major injuries.
Police did capture the suspect but have not released his identity.
