Slick spots remain from weekend storm; crashes reported across area

Multiple crashes have been reported as snow continues to move through the region. Reported crashes include:

MONTGOMERY COUNTY:

  • On I-70 westbound near Peters Pike and Dayton International Airport Access Rd in Butler Twp., a tractor trailer containing paint and a small amount of gas was reportedly engulfed just before noon. Crews are on scene report the left lane is open and Hazmat was not needed at the scene.
  • On I-70 easbound and I-75 northbound ramp, the ramp was reportedly closed after a crash around 11 a.m.
  • On Paragon Road at Social Row Road in Washington Twp., is reportedly closed after a Centerville salt truck with a plow slid off the road on Paragon Rd. while a private salt truck slid off of Social Row Rd. at 8:40 a.m. Tow trucks are assisting.

  • On southbound I-75 near mile marker 45 in West Carrollton report of a slide off at 7:35 a.m.
  • On Hoover Ave. and N. Upland Ave. in Dayton report of an accident at 6:53 a.m.
  • On southbound I-75 at I-675 northbound on ramp in Miamisburg report of a slide off at 6:15 a.m.
