Before arriving on scene, officers learned Jeromy Miller, 44, had a warrant out of Sidney Municipal Court, according to a release from the Sidney Police Department.

The Sidney Tactical Response team was called onto the scene when Miller stopped communicating with officers and barricaded himself inside a residence.

Once a search warrant was obtained, a Sidney Police K9 and the tactical team forced entry, the release said.

Miller was arrested and is booked at the Shelby County Jail.

He was charged with obstruction of justice in addition to his warrant.
