West Carrollton lifting some COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings urged

Starting Monday, the city of West Carrollton will provide in-person, face-to-face appointments for city functions such as filing taxes, paying water bills and applying for permits.

The city announced the changes after Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said he was gradually lifting restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All West Carrollton departments will require contacting them via email or phone to schedule an appointment time, according to the city.

West Carrollton officials are recommending that all persons entering the building wear a face covering while conducting business with city staff.

To make an appointment:

•With the finance department during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., email financedir@westcarrollton.org or call (937) 859-8288.

•With the service department email waterclerk@westcarrollton.org or call (937) 859-8280. As a reminder, the due date of the current utility bill has been extended until May 4.

•With the planning department, including permitting and code enforcement, email plan@westcarrollton.org or call (937) 859-5783.
