Daycares will be allowed to reopen beginning May 31. Following are changes that may be most noticeable to parents, though some facilities also may stagger drop-off and pick-up times to make it easier to maintain social distancing.

  • Children must wash their hands when entering the classroom.

At pick-up

  • Children must wash their hands before leaving.

Class sizes

  • One staff member per four infants with no more than six children in a room.
