Last weekend’s preview, Morgan said, provided “the opportunity to give the public a nice sneak peak of what we’re doing out here and to get our staff ready and work the bugs out of everything. We’re really excited. Things are going great.”
Morgan, president of Dayton-based DEM Technology LLC, and Kaylor, an accountant at DEM, believe Wild Hogs will gain popularity similar to the famed Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock Cafe and put both Dayton and “Moraine on the map.”
Their plans for the 30-plus acre site at 6363 Farmersville-West Carrollton Road include a campground and outdoor stage for concerts.
Its location, Morgan said, makes it an appealing ride as a leisure and entertainment destination from nearby counties, as well as Indiana, Kentucky and even Michigan.
Morgan purchased the trademark on the name and next year plans to start opening a string of franchises, starting in the Southern states.
Wild Hog’s extensive menu will include wraps, burgers, quesadillas and wings, as well as dinner-only items such as steaks, chops and ribs.
