A new world record may be set at Grand Lake St. Marys this weekend.
The International Amphicar Owners Club is hoping to set the Guinness Book of World Records for the most amphicars ever assembled at Celina Lake Festival on Saturday.

The current record is 75.
An amphicar can go 70 mph and 7 mph on water. In the water, it moves by twin nylon propellers with the front wheels acting as rudders.

The cars were built from 1961 to 1968, and today, less than 600 sea-worthy are still in existence today.
