Bicyclist dies after being struck by a van in Warren County

A 34-year-old woman died Sunday night as a result of her injuries following a traffic crash on Morrow Rossburg Road, south of state Route 132, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Lebanon Post.

A black Honda Minivan was traveling south on Morrow Rossburg Road when two bicyclists were traveling north. One bicyclists, Stephanie Vesper, of Loveland, lost control, rode over the center line and was struck by the minivan.

Vesper was transported to a landing zone and then flown by AirCare Medical Helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the minivan, Jonathan Sears, 33, of Blanchester was not injured. There is no word on the second bicyclist.

Troopers along with Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Harlan Twp. Fire & EMS assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Patrol Post.
