Wright Brothers Airport slated to receive $150K in funds

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Dayton Wright Brothers Airport will receive $150,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration to conduct a pavement-management study, according to a news release.

The local airport is one of four Ohio airports to receive a portion of $863,107 in FAA funds, according to a press release issued today, July 9, by U.S. Sen. George Voinovich, R-Ohio.

Others slated to receive the funds include the Henry County Airport Authority, Ohio University Snyder Field and Williams County Regional Airport Authority, a press release states.

“I am pleased that these Ohio airports can now develop and improve their services through these vital funds,” Voinovich said in a statement. “It is critical that we continue to improve the safety and efficiency of our airports.”
