Wright-Patterson hosts Run for the Fallen to remember 9/11

The Wright-Patterson community will remember those lost in the terrorist attacks of 9/11 by participating in the sixth annual Run for the Fallen.

The event begins at 8 a.m. in Area B.

A 5k run and 2k walk are free and open to all Wright-Patt military civilian employees and their families.

Chief Master Sgt. Stephen Arbona, 88th Air Base Wing Command Chief will speak at the event. The Honor Guard will also be present.

Run for the Fallen pays tribute to those who died in the attacks of 9/11, keeping the promise made that day to “Never Forget.” The event averages more than 1,500 people attending every year.
