Yard waste options exist for Butler Twp. residents

Butler Township no longer offers a yard waste drop off program, but residents still have options for disposing of yard waste.

Rumpke will pick up yard waste with regular service, with a limit of six bags/containers per week. Also, Rumpke will collect limbs and brush, which must be bundled and tied into 4-by-2-foot bundles.

Montgomery County Solid Waste District Transfer and Recycling Facility will collect any yard waste providing the resident shows proof of residency. The disposal of clean, debris-free yard waste, limbs and brush, loose or in plastic bags, is free of charge.

Waste can be dropped off at 1001 Encrete Lane in Moraine during regular hours of operation, which can be found at www.mcswd.org.

Harris Sod and Seed will all accept small branches and limbs. The facility is located at 8890 Dog Leg Road and can be reached at 937-890-1783.
