The park system bills the attraction as one of the largest fountains in the world, covering 395,000 square feet across an 800-foot diameter and jetting water 200 feet in the air from the central geyser.
During daylights hours, the fountain will run for 8 minutes each hour. During the week, it runs from 6:56 a.m. to 9:54 p.m. and weekends 10:56 a.m. to 9:54 p.m.
Water to the fountain comes from seven wells that tap the aquifer and is monitored to make sure it never harms the aquifer.
