Longtime Dayton doctor set track records at Ohio State

Edward Meadow, who set track and field records at Ohio State before becoming a long-time doctor in Dayton, has died. He was 90.

Meadow was a Shaker Heights native who attended Ohio State and set the freshman record in the mile that stood for 15 years, according to his obituary. He also won events at the prestigious Drake Relays.

He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and practiced podiatry in Dayton for 50 years.
