Scenes from the 1913 Food in Dayton. This an many other photographs were passed down to Robert Ferneding, 100, who is a survivor of the1913 flood in Dayton. He was eight months old when his mother heroically rescued him when their rescue boat capsized. All the other passengers died. He does not remember the flood but he owes his long, full life to his mother's bravery. These are Ferneding's parents photographed in 1925.
