The bridge connects Pershing Avenue on the east side of the Great Miami River with New London Road on the western shoreline. Closures on the bridge started in early March.
Cross-town traffic has been a growing concern during heavy-traffic hours, and officials have been working to improve traffic flow.

But the orange barrels are not gone for good. Nighttime work will cause closures on east and westbound lanes from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Nov. 13 through Nov. 17.
Traffic will be maintained during the work, according to the ODOT.
More lane closures could come in the spring for the placement of permanent markings, according to ODOT.
Brandon Collett, the bridge engineer for ODOT District 8, recently told Hamilton City Council that this phase of work “should be a lot less harmful to the traffic than it is now.”
