Mall at Fairfield Commons starts interior renovations

The Mall at Fairfield Commons redevelopment project is one step closer to completion.

The Beavercreek family shopping, dining and entertainment area will begin interior redevelopment, the second phase of renovations.

Center Court will be renovated, which includes the addition of a variety of shopper friendly amenities. The interior renovation features a contemporary facelift of that area.

The large marble staircase that currently divides the space will be removed and a new floating staircase will be installed near JCPenney. A new set of men’s, women’s and family restrooms will be added on the lower level.

Mobile charging stations will be added near the new restrooms.

"The Mall at Fairfield Commons is committed to providing visitors with the best possible shopping experience," said Kristie Miller, general manager at The Mall at Fairfield Commons. "The next phase of our ongoing redevelopment will make our Center Court more warm and inviting and provide our fashion-forward guests with even more conveniences as they shop, dine and spend time here with family and friends."

Construction is expected to be complete by late October. Phase one of the redevelopment project was completed in 2015.
