T.J. Maxx to open Kettering location on Sunday

Off-price retailer T.J. Maxx will open its new Kettering location on Sunday.

The new store, which offers brand-name and designer merchandise, will open its doors at the Town and Country Shopping Center. The stores sells clothing, fashion accessories, home goods and beauty products.

“We are pleased to provide a new store in Kettering, delivering value and an exciting selection of merchandise to serve the needs of customers,” said Richard Sherr, president of T.J.Maxx. “With thousands of new items from top designers and brands arriving in stores weekly from around the world, shoppers will discover a new store full of amazing values every time they visit.”

The 250,676-square-foot Town & Country shopping center is located on East Stroop Road, between Far Hills Avenue and Shroyer Road. Kettering completed an extensive project around the shopping center last year, installing new walkways, lighting and landscaping.

Other recent developments announced for the shopping complex includes Chick-fil-A and Petco.

Reusable bags will be given to the first 1,000 customers. T.J. Maxx has more than 1,000 stores in 49 states and Puerto Rico. Hours for the new store are: Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sundays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
