Plans to improve access to the entrance of Riverfront Park in downtown Miamisburg are moving forward.

The city is looking to hire an engineer to design a two-lane access road for the entrance to the park, the focus of a $10 million master plan approved two years ago.

At that time, street, infrastructure and utility work was projected to cost about $2.1 million. The access road would connect Linden Avenue and Ferry Street – a span of about 1,000 feet - for the park on North Miami Avenue, city documents show.
