Old Navy is opening a store at Austin Landing, according to Montgomery County records. The retailer doesn’t typically have locations as close together as the two shopping centers.
The parent company of Maurice’s, which also owns Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Loft and Justice also announced plans last year to close at least 268 stores.
The Dayton Mall has also recently lost its Elder-Beerman and Sears stores after the companies filed for bankruptcy and closed hundreds of stores.
The Dayton Daily News has reached out to mall leadership, Old Navy and Maurices for comment about the closures.
