Ohioan joining Fox News from Obama administration

Marie Harf, who served as No. 2 spokeswoman and a senior communications adviser in the State Department under Secretary of State John Kerry, will join Fox News as a foreign policy contributor.

Harf, 35, attended Indiana University but grew up just outside of Columbus. She was scheduled to make her first appearance on Fox News Monday night.

Harf joined the State Department in 2013 after serving as a foreign policy spokeswoman for President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign. Before working on the Obama campaign, she held a post at the CIA.
