Family members sent the TV station pictures of 2-year-old Lyric Farrell.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office and the Department of Children and Families are investigating her death.
Lyric’s father, Chris Farrell, lives in Dorchester. He says she was full of life and always smiling. She loved coloring and playing with toys.
Chris says he’s still in shock over her death and he is desperate for some answers.
“I love my daughter, I love my daughter,” he said.

He shared videos of Lyric with Boston 25 News, telling us she would've turned 3 years old in April.
A source told WFXT that Lyric was found on a couch wrapped in a blanket with head trauma and bruises after a 911 call Saturday night.
“Why was she found like they said she was found, that is not right," Chris Farrell said. "She’s 2 years old, she’s defenseless. She is defenseless.”
We are still awaiting autopsy results to find out how Lyric died.
At this point, we’re told no charges have been filed.

Chris Farrell says Lyric had seven siblings, many of whom lived with her.
“I’m looking for answers from DCF," Chris Farrell said. "They’re not returning any of my calls, they’re not picking up. I would just like to hear something from them."
A DCF spokesperson told WFXT, "The Department of Children and Families continues to investigate this tragic situation in collaboration with law enforcement. All of the children in the home are currently in DCF custody."
"I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel," Chris Farrell said. "I’m angry today. I was sad a couple days ago, now I’m angry."
Farrell tells us Lyric was only recently living back in Whitman with her mom.
