"After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today," Nick Carter said. "In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else."

Aaron Carter, 31, claims his brother is seeking the restraining order because he did a live stream with Melissa Schuman, a woman who has accused Nick Carter of raping her in 2002, when she was 18 and he was 22. Schuman filed a lawsuit against him in 2017, which it was dismissed the next year.
Aaron Carter continued to address the restraining order, which he confirmed he received, in numerous tweets.
"Take care. @nickcarter we're done for life," he said in one tweet.
So my brother just got a a restraining order against me. And I was just served lol
