Oliver was arrested on a misdemeanor DWI charge and a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon after authorities said a pistol was found in his vehicle, KTRK reported.
Oliver attended Westfield High School in Houston and played for the University of Houston from 2016 to 2018, KHOU reported. He left college before his senior year and was selected by the Bills in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft, and was No. 9 overall.
Oliver started seven games and played in all 16 of the Bills’ regular-season games. He forced one fumble. The 6-foot-1, 287-pounder also made 43 tackles and had five sacks.
“We are aware of the situation and we are gathering more information,” the Bills said in a statement. “We will have no further comment at this point.”
Oliver bonded out of jail Sunday morning, KPRC reported.
