The SUV ended up wedged inside the building, which holds several businesses.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash.
The driver, 31, wasn't injured and said he fell asleep behind the wheel.
The damage to the building forced Rose Hair Salon to close. The owners told KIRO-TV it was lucky the crash didn't happen later in the day. The SUV cut through the salon's waiting area and could have killed someone.
Not only did the SUV crash into Benchmark Glass and Glazing, it slammed into the company's work truck parked inside.
