"It was crazy," Arumugam told KXAS.
Arumugan said he was taking pictures inside his new home when he heard a loud crash.
"We were taking pictures for paint," Arumugam told KTVT. "It's my first house … I was looking forward to moving as quickly as possible to celebrate Christmas here."
That’s when Arumugam heard a loud crash and looked outside his back window.
"My first thought was, 'Is somebody hurt? What's going on out there? Is the driver hurt?'" Arumugam told WFAA.
As the FedEx driver backed out of the yard, damaging the fence some more, Arumugam began recording.
"I was going to help him," Arumugam told KTVT. "I was concerned he might be hurt, but the next moment he started pulling back and forth trying to free himself up and took off and just fled the scene."
Arumugam filed a report with the McKinney Police Department and contacted FedEx, the television station reported.
This is the second time in a month a FedEx driver has caused an accident at a North Texas house and then left the scene.

In a statement, FedEx said it was “committed to taking appropriate action.”
“The behavior depicted in this video is inconsistent with the professionalism FedEx Ground expects from its service providers. Safety is our top priority, and we are grateful that no one was injured as a result of this incident. We offer our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused by this situation and are in direct contact with the homeowner to resolve this matter.”
FedEx did not say whether the driver was disciplined or fired, WFAA reported.
"What he did was really bad," Arumugam told KTVT. "He not only caused damage, he fled the scene and he thought he would get away with it."
