Parents of a newborn, newly fostered and newly adopted children would be eligible for the leave, WTSP reported.
Employees must have worked for the company for at least 18 months to be eligible, WTSP reported.
They also must work an average of 20 or more hours a week, WPTV reported.
The bills will be on the schedule for the next legislative year beginning on Jan. 14, WPTV reported.
If passed and signed by the governor, the measure would take effect on July 1, WTSP reported.
