The Clay County Sheriff's Office alerted the community Thursday morning about Halloween candy that appears to have been tampered with.
Officials said the candy was not consumed.
The Sheriff's Office did not provide a description of the candy or how it was possibly tampered with.
A local woman says she threw out all of her kids’ Halloween candy after she found a needle in it. NOW Clay County deputies are looking into it & telling parents to check their candy. @ActionNewsJax pic.twitter.com/WRlwmjAR3n
