Golden Globes: What time, what channel, who is nominated, livestream

The 77th Golden Globes Awards ceremony will be held Sunday with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association honoring the best movies and television stars and shows of 2019.

Here’s what you need to know about the awards ceremony.

When: Sunday

Where: The show will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

What time: The show will be broadcast beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Red Carpet coverage: E! will air "Live From the Red Carpet" coverage with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic starting at 6 p.m. ET. NBC also has carpet coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

What channel: NBC is broadcasting the Golden Globes.

Online: Hulu with a Live TV plan, DirecTV Now, PlayStation Vue, Sling TV, Fubo TV, and YouTube TV will all be broadcasting the show.

Who is hosting: Comedian Ricky Gervais will return for a fifth round of hosting the awards ceremony. In the past, Gervais has been criticized for some of his comments.

Who is presenting: Some of those slated to present awards are: Glenn Close, Daniel Craig, Ted Danson, Will Ferrell, Tiffany Haddish, Kate McKinnon, Octavia Spencer, Charlize Theron, Sofia Vergara and Kerry Washington.

Special awards: Tom Hanks will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award on Sunday, and Ellen DeGeneres will be given the Carol Burnett Award.
