An Indiana woman is facing a 12-year prison sentence after officials said she sexually abused a toddler and sold videos of the molestation for drug money.

According to WLKY-TV, Jamie Simms, 23, of Jeffersonville, agreed to plead guilty to child exploitation and molestation charges in the incident, which took place in 2018.

Jeffersonville police said that after Simms molested the 3-year-old victim, she sold recordings of the abuse using a social messaging app. She said she received $200 for the videos and planned to use the money to buy drugs, the outlet reported.

Simms, whose sentencing is set for this month, also will appear in the sex offender registry, WLKY reported.
