A Kentucky gas station ran out of gas Thursday morning after lowering its price to 99 cents a gallon.

A Spur Oil in London, Kentucky, posted about the historically low prices Monday on social media before temporarily running out of fuel later, WHAS reported.

“I know we ran out of fuel again just a little bit ago but we have a truck there now and another on the way," the station wrote on social media. "Just bare with us we are trying to keep up.”

GasBuddy.com analyst Patrick De Haan had predicted lower prices at the pump across the country earlier in the week.

"It's been so long since I've seen the energy board with so few products over $1/gal," De Haan posted on social media.
