According to the Los Angeles Daily News, artist Jules "Muckrock" Muck began creating the portrait Sunday on a Pickford Street wall after learning that the father-daughter pair were among nine people killed in a helicopter crash. The two smile and embrace in the painting, which includes the caption, "Kobe & Gigi, Forever Daddy's Girl," KGO-TV reported.
Muck finished the mural by 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the Daily News.
"It just meant a lot to me. My dad was ill, and so their death just hit me," Muck told the newspaper.
