Update 10:34 a.m. EDT April 28: Dixson said Ross had been involved in a hit-and-run accident, but Lt. Derrick Rogers, a spokesman for the City of South Fulton Police Department, said in an email that the driver of the other vehicle, a Ford Focus, "received minor injuries."
“The driver of the Nissan Sentra (Ross) hit the right-side curb, lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the northbound lanes of travel and struck a Ford Focus head-on that was traveling northbound,” Rogers said in the email. “The investigation is ongoing and I have no further details.”
Original report: The management team for the Tennessee native, who had appeared on the Lifetime series since it debuted in 2016, also shared the news in a post on Ross' official Instagram page.
"It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross, aka 'Ms. Minnie' of 'Little Women: Atlanta,' has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit-and-run car accident today at the age of 34," the statement read. "The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."
Co-stars Amanda Salinas and Shirlene “Ms. Juicy” Pearson also took to social media to pay tribute to Ross.
