He spent most of his life behind the wheel of a school bus, now David Wright will rest in peace in a casket decorated in the same yellow and black as his bus.

Wright, who died at the age of 76 on Aug. 13, worked for the Wilson County School District for more than 50 years, WZTV reported.

His funeral was held Sunday in a fitting location -- at Lebanon High School; where those whose lives he touched over his five decades of service said goodbye, according to WZTV.

Wright was then buried in a custom casket painted like a school bus emblazoned with Wilson County Schools and markings that match his vehicle.

The school's transportation department will be named for Wright to honor his memory, WZTV reported.
