Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others were all killed Sunday when the helicopter they were flying in crashed.
To honor Bryant’s appreciation for reading, the Los Angeles Public Library released “Kobe’s Bookshelf,” a 15-title list culled from mentions by Bryant in interviews and on social media.
"As one would expect from a passionate storyteller, Bryant also appreciated reading a good book," librarian Keith Kesler wrote in a blog post. "I searched through old interviews and social media posts to find the books that inspired the Black Mamba."
