According to police, the driver picked up two women, identified as Nicole Francis and Natasha Horton, at a bar in Knoxville, WBIR reported.
As he was driving them to their destination, the driver said the two women began arguing in the back seat, the television station reported. When the driver pulled over and asked the woman to leave his vehicle, they began hitting and choking him, Erland told the News Sentinel.
The driver then took a knife and stabbed the two women, who were taken to an area hospital, the newspaper reported. Their injuries were not thought to be serious.
The driver did not seek medical attention, WBIR reported. Charges are pending against the two women, the television station reported.
