The incident happened in December at the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, according to WISN-TV.
A security guard found Wesley Brown’s 76-year-old grandmother trapped inside the vehicle in 37-degree temperatures with the child safety locks engaged.
When the casino paged the owner of the car, Brown, 29, showed up, according to the legal complaint, and admitted that he left his grandmother in the vehicle but "believed there were chips and candy in the back seat," WISN reported.

He claimed he checked on her once but didn’t bring her any food in all that time.
When police arrived, they found the woman's seat belt was so tight "it had embedded into (her) skin" and they had to cut it off her, the news station reported.
Brown’s grandmother has dementia and prosecutors said she was “wearing a soiled diaper” when they found her.
Brown is facing a number of charges in the case, including false imprisonment and subjecting an individual at risk to abuse. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
