Video released by police Tuesday shows the man confronting the woman and then hitting her with the metal. The man caught one of the pizzas that fell from the woman's hands as she reacted in pain from the blow.
Police did not release any information about the woman's condition, KSAZ reported. They also have not identified the attacker, the Daily Star reported.
“If you frequent this area and have seen someone matching the description, please call so we can get this guy off the street,” the Tucson Police Department said in a news release.
