A New Hampshire man has filed a lawsuit in Allegheny County claiming he was sexually abused by three different priests within the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.

The 62-year-old man alleges the abuse happened in the 1970s, beginning when he was "seven or eight," according to a news release.

That’s when he attended St. Coleman’s School in Turtle Creek.

One of the priests named is Father Edward C. Maliszewski, who died in 2006.

He claims Maliszewski, who took him to the rectory, forced him to drink wine, undressed him and assaulted him, all the while whispering in the child's ear, "this is what God wanted for both of us," the suit said.

“The abuse continued at the boy’s home when they were alone, until he was removed from school in the sixth grade because of ongoing behavioral problems,” the lawsuit says.

The victim claims the abuse continued at Woodville State Hospital and the New Castle Youth Development Center.

He only knew the other two priests as “Father” and the lawsuit said the Diocese of Pittsburgh will not provide the names of priests who could have been involved.

This is a developing story. Check wpxi.com for updates.
