According to investigators, the shooter and another person inside his sedan struck another vehicle on Interstate 10 just before 6 p.m., KTRK reported. The impact caused the second vehicle to spin out, KPRC reported. A police dispatcher reported that a "Hispanic male, tan shirt, holding a really big gun, (is) shooting at another car," KTRK reported.
Police said the suspect stood in front of the sedan and began firing several rounds at the victims' windshield, the Chronicle reported.
"A major accident makes you mad on the way home, but seeing something like this to a normal citizen (and) witnesses is very disturbing," Houston Assistant Police Chief Bobby Dobbins told the Chronicle.
It is not clear what led to the shooting, the newspaper reported. Police said narcotics were found in the victims' vehicle, the Chronicle reported.
