More than a dozen members of the Saudi military training at bases in the United States will be expelled from the country after a Pentagon review initiated in the wake of a deadly attack at Naval Air Station Pensacola.

Some have connections to extremist groups and some are accused of possessing child pornography, CNN reported.

None was accused of helping the Saudi Air Force second lieutenant who fatally shot three American service members.

About a dozen Saudi trainees were stationed at the Pensacola air base. They had been confined to their quarters during the review. It is unclear at which military installations the servicemen being expelled serve.

The FBI investigated the shooting. The Pentagon conducted the review of the 850 Saudi military members in the U.S.
