After tying up the residents, the intruders stole cash from the home before leaving in a small, dark-colored SUV, police said.
One family member was hurt, WSB reported. Neighbors said that after the robbers left, the son went to get help.
"He ran to their house and he was bound, so they cut him loose," neighbor Linda Pryhoda said.
Neighbors told WSB they are not going to cower or live in fear. They've been handing out flyers describing the crime and urging everyone to stand together.
"What we've been doing is sharing our phone numbers, talking to each other," neighbor Juan Maisonet said.
The neighborhood has organized a meeting at its clubhouse Monday to meet police and discuss ways to make the neighborhood safe.
"(We plan to) get a community watch going, just be on the lookout," Pryhoda said.
Police are still looking for the robbers and hope to get help from the public.
