There has been another recall of pet food.
Nature's Variety has voluntarily recalled its Instinct Raw Chicken Formula for dogs due to possible salmonella contamination, the Food and Drug Administration has released.
The food has a "Best By" date of 4/27/16.
The recall is limited to the Instinct Raw Chicken Formula Frozen Diets with the following weights and UPC numbers:
- UPC# 769949611431, 4 lb. package Instinct Raw Chicken Bites
- UPC# 769949711438, 4 lb. x 6 case Instinct Raw Chicken Bites
- UPC# 769949611486, 6 lb. package of Instinct Raw Chicken Patties
- UPC# 769949711483, 6 lb. package of Instinct Raw Chicken Patties
- UPC# 769949611448, 7 lb. package of Instinct Raw Chicken Bites
- UPC# 769949711445, 7 lb. x 4 case of Instinct Raw Chicken Bites
The FDA said no other products are affected.
