WFRV reported that Monica Mencheski, 32, faces nine counts, including three counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety and three counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated - third offense.

WFRV reported that, according to police records, Mencheski has been convicted of two prior operating while intoxicated penalties dating back to 2014.

In the May 10 incident, a criminal complaint said that officers got information about children being involved in a crash in a Ashwaubenon neighborhood.

Police said the vehicle was off the roadway and drove between two houses, hit a tree and continued through a yard, hitting a utility pole and ultimately getting wedged on a rock.

"Monica had the appearance of being highly intoxicated," police said in the complaint, according to WBAY. "Her speech was extremely slurred and a very strong odor of alcohol was coming from her as she yelled and screamed about her children."

Authorities said when they asked Mencheski to perform field sobriety tests, she responded, “I am too fat and wobbly to do this,” “I am too drunk” and “Not gonna lie. I’m drunk,” according to the complaint. WBAY reported that police said Mencheski could not list the name or ages of her children, who were not hurt in the incident.

According to WBAY, police said Mencheski's blood alcohol level on a preliminary breath test was 0.24%, three times the 0.08% legal limit. Police also found a glass pipe in Mencheski's SUV, which tested positive for marijuana.

Brown County Assistant District Attorney told WFRV that Mencheski was also charged with one count of bail jumping, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of operating motor vehicle with a revoked license.

Mencheski's bond was set at $5,000, WBAY reported. She is due back in court May 29.
