Oregon man dies after crashing cart at golf course, deputies say

Frank A. Dilworth, 50, of Springfield, was pronounced dead at the scene at the golf club in Coos Bay, which deputies did not identify, KMTR reported.

According to the Coos County Sheriff's Office, the golf cart rolled over after Dilworth tried to drive it down a steep embankment, the Oregonian reported. A passenger in the golf cart suffered minor injuries, the newspaper reported

Bystanders who reached Dilworth began to administer CPR while 911 was called, KMTR reported. Emergency responders from Sumner fire and EMTs from Bay Cities Ambulance responded, but were unable to revive Dilworth, the Sheriff's Office said.
