The final movie in the "Star Wars" saga, "The Rise of Skywalker," was released Dec. 20. The other message refers to Nov. 7, 2000, the last day there were no deaths along a Texas road, The Houston Chronicle reported.
The green Yoda-like character called “The Child” featured in “The Mandalorian” is seen seated in what appears to be the “Star Wars” equivalent of a car seat.
Texas is not the only state where highway officials are using the galaxy’s latest star to promote safety.
Earlier in December, the Mississippi Department of Transportation updated its highway message boards:
“Baby Yoda uses the Force but still needs a car seat.”
Nebraska Department of Transportation officials later used the same message but made a somber addition:
“241 Nebraska traffic deaths this year.”
