Kinsley's mother, Meghan Green, asked on Facebook if David's coworkers, would donate extra sick days so David could be there as Kinsley receives treatment.
Within days, other teachers donated more than 100 sick days to David, who figured he'd need about 40 days, WHNT reported.
One teacher, who is forging her own battle against cancer, donated two days to David.
"If I had more to give, I would give him more," Wilma DeYampert told WHNT.
